Test Strategy

Eventhough testing differs between organizations. Almost all the software development organizations follow Test Strategy document to achieve the goals and to follow the best practice.

Test Strategy is a high level document (static document) and normally developed by project manager. It is a document which captures the approach on how we go about testing the product and achieve the goals. The Test Strategy is normally derived from the BRS. Documents like Test Plan is prepared by keeping the test strategy document as base.
